Incentive Program

Connecting Landowners, Growing Impact

We believe that the best connections come from those who know and trust us. Whether you’re a consulting forester, a business partner, a family member or friend, you’re in a unique position to help bring members into our conservation community.

To recognize and reward those efforts, Forest Carbon Works offers referrers an Incentive Program for every new acre enrolled in our FCW Conserve carbon program. This flexible program gives you options on how to receive the reward based on what you feel is appropriate and given your relationship to the enrolling landowner.

How It Works

When a referred landowner enrolls in our program, you can receive an incentive based on the number of acres enrolled:

  • $2 per acre for the first 100–1,000 acres
  • $1 per acre for the next 1,001–2,000 acres
  • $0.50 per acre for 2,001+ acres
  • Maximum reward: $10,000 per referred landowner

Choose Your Reward

You’ll have multiple options for how to use your incentive:

  1. Cash Reward Receive the funds directly.
  2. Services Credit Apply your reward as a future credit toward the business services you offer the landowner.
  3. Charitable Donation Pay it forward by donating your reward to a nonprofit or university of your choice.
  4. Decline an Incentive: If you feel an incentive payment is not appropriate or presents a conflict of interest, you are not required to choose any of the options listed above.

How to Qualify

  • Referrals may be submitted through our website or by the landowner in writing prior to contract signing. A single referrer may refer multiple landowners.
  • Respond to any Forest Carbon Works outreach within 30 days to finalize your reward.
  • Provide your contact details and a completed W-9 form before payment can be issued.
