Our properties are along Route 116 which though rural is well traveled and most cars are going 50 mph rather than the posted 35 mph. A leash is a good idea when crossing the road. Depending on when the technician comes we are heading into foliage season which mens a lot of out-of-town traffic. We have the usual cast of characters; deer, bear, porcupines, skunks, turkeys, raccoons, etc. Our property abuts the National Forest so a dog could literally run forever without sensing a boundary.
